I taped an episode of new series that is supposed to air on the Discovery channel.  After doing live television where everything I did or said was seen by 12 million viewers immediately, it was very refreshing to be able to cut and retake when I did not like how like how something looked or sounded.  The series is supposed to air at the end of the summer.  More details to come…

I want to thank all of my fans, friends and family for your support during the show.  I could not have done it without you!  I also want to share a secret with you… 

Immediately prior to show’s commencement I ruptured two discs in my lower back.  I could have had back surgery and dropped out of the show, but I did not want to miss a once in a life time experience or disappoint all the people whom helped me get this far.

I spent most of the season sitting in wheelchair, or hobbling with a cane on good days.  What you did not see on TV is that I was wheeled out on stage in my wheelchair, got up with the aid of ice and electrodes attached to my lower back, and barely stood up out my chair moments before the cameras started.  As soon I was done performing my set I would collapse back into my wheelchair.  You find out more about this from my exit interview on the NBC site 

This was a true testament for the strength of the mind, willpower and believing in yourself.  I really could not have don’t have done it without the support of my friends and family around me.  THANK YOU…I LOVE YOU!!!

For the past couple months, each week I found a new way to put my life on the line.

Last week, in addition to putting my hands on Tia Carrera, avoiding Black Scorpions and falling on the “safe” mattress, I found out that I was in the top 3 mentalists!  That exceeded my personal expectations from the show.

It has been a great experience.  I have made some great new friends, and got to spend time with some childhood friends.  Guy Bavli and I have been friends since we were 12 years old!

While for the show last week I used real African Scorpions, these were used as stand-ins for rehearsals.  They are not alive, but still look scary.

I am sure that you have heard by now that I put my hand in the wrong vase last week during my performance on Phenomenon. I am actually very lucky, it could have ended up much worse.This is a photo from after the show. If you notice Holly is wearing her “unknown object” which was the Necklace she placed in the vase, while I am showing off my “performance wound”.

Wow! Did you watch last week’s episode of Phenomenon? It was extremely exciting, to say the least! Everyone is asking me if the Criss Angel and Jim Callahan’s incident was staged…….…absolutely not! Two performers that feel very passionate about their own opinions, makes explosive LIVE television.

Wow! I was selected as one of the 10 mentalists who will compete LIVE against one another each week in the new TV series “PHENOMENON”.  Series Premiere Oct 24th, at 8PM on NBC. PHENOMENON is an intriguing and mystifying meeting of the minds that takes place on live television when famed mentalist Uri Geller and world-renowned mystifier Criss Angel (”Criss Angel Mindfreak”) conduct an intensive search for the next great mentalist
